If your antivirus is compromised by malware that has taken over and made your antivirus not detect any bad activity anymore, you can use an online scanner! However beware that there are fakes out there! Only use reputable ones such as ESET:

The only way to protect yourself is to arm yourself with knowledge. When you relax and expect others to protect you, they usually drop the ball. So this is why I do what I do.
