Others I have tried are:
Add to Search Bar ...I swear by this one because of how I use it. Infact it is even useful now as some of the addons do not have their own websites and I can search for them with this addon:
Download StatusbarFull Screen Status Bar (I use this often for security screenshots and tutorial screenshots)
HTTPS Everywhere (Smart to have this and makes all pages https)
Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon is an Adblock Plus extension which extends the blocking functionality to pop-up windows and pop-up tabs

Adobe Acrobat
(Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape 10.1.0)
BrowserProtectCanadian English Dictionary (2.0.1 SUCKED! They used to be better)
Domain Name DetailsElement Hiding Helper (Perhaps this screwed up my Firefox? I don't remember this working more than a day)
Iconix® eMail ID tells you if that paypal email or bank email is actually legit or not. But now some web email pages are finally implementing their own. (another
link)
IEview (I find this useful for those rare times such as like today where I need to open up pages I already have open in Firefox in another browser. Wish there were ones for others but I could only find IE)
LastPass for saving passwords as encrypted and puts in your passwords for you so keyloggers are useless
LinkAlert (since I have the status bar enabled this is not really a necessity for me but I pretty much just use it so I know if a link will open up in the same window or a different window. This is actually not the intention of this plugin but just like it identifies what the link extension is it also tells if it is a link that opens up in the same page or new page)
Long URL please (so that you actually DO know where those short url links will take you instead of just having to trust gibberish)
NetCraft Security Toolbar (I usually hate toolbars as I see them a waste of space but this one has some useful stuff I do personally use so...)
Norton Safe Web Lite Toolbar 1.2.0
Open Image In New TabTinEye Reverse Image SearchPastebin (Never worked properly so I no longer use that and just put a shortcut in my favorites. MUCH more reliable!!)
Print Edit (Worked at first for a few times and then don't know what happened .. perhaps this is what screwed up everything else? First time I actually tried to use it and edit out a lot it never was the same. Instead I realize that IE has this built in now so I will use IE for those times by just clicking my IEView and opening it in IE)
Read It Later 2.1.1 (This is actually VERY useful if you are using Firefox because Another problem I had was Firefox would crash and then it would NOT remember what pages I had open. When I felt that Firefox was getting slower I would mark the tabs I didn't want to lose in Read It Later and that was more reliable than Firefox's Tab recovery **NOTE: Since using Safe Mode to reset I haven't crashed lately and it seems to fix the issue of not opening those tabs)
RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin (Well it came with RealPlayer and I was surprised really)
Right-Click-Link (made things easier for me instead of having to open new tab and manually type in an address that wasn't a link on the web)
Search Engine Security (meh .. didn't really notice anything so not sure if I even needed it)
Stylish (a friend told me about this for when it is late and you don't want a bright screen staring at you)
However I found this next one easier to implement because I didn't care how my browser looked .. just wanted the window simply darker:
Turn Off the LightsUser Agent Switcher extension (I did not think there was any use for this until someone was talking about something that I could not see. They told me that search bots could and so I tried this and realized the usefulness of it)
Web Developer (told by my security peers that this is useful)
WiseStamp (handy for having a custom signature in Yahoo or gmail and there is a professional setting for professional email accounts)
Youtube to MP3 Toolbar Extension (I don't really see the use in this but my ma from the "old country" does as she can save music in her language from bands that don't exist anymore and put them on CD as she no longer has a record player)
Tab Mix Plus (didn't use it for long .. nothing wrong with it. Just was trying to cut out the ones I didn't feel I needed)
TorButton (for security research I do I found this useful to use because the TorBrowser is a safe environment)
I have also used at least one of
this guy's addonsHowever recently I have started having an odd issue (and can't recall what I did that suddenly made it like this) where the addon's that put an icon in the toolbar disappear. Even going to customize the one for WOT is not available to even drag back up there. Same for McAfee SiteAdvisor.
So I did some research and will be trying these out. However, since I use Firefox as my default and these pages say you need to close Firefox .. and my printer is out of ink .. I am putting things links here now before I try them so that I can have the list of links to open in another browser in a few minutes:
I can't see my WOT toolbar button anywhereToolbar keeps resettingCheck your Plugins (Run in Firefox only)
